The Dunbar LEED Platinum House is a single-family home that earned the honour of being the first LEED Platinum and Built Green Platinum home in Western Canada. Sitting on the edge of the majestic Pacific Spirit Park, this dwelling has thoughtful, environmentally-conscious finishes and design that allows the interior and exterior spaces to blend, creating a cohesive living space to live, work and play. Sleek finishes fuse with warm wooden accents, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tones. The floorplan of the house is divided into two zones, connected by an open stair in the heart of the home, lit from above by an impressive skylight. Exposed beam ceilings on the main floor offer visual interest and a sense of playfulness, while large dark tiles throughout the space command a sense of presence and stability. A spacious bedroom on the second floor provides access to the rooftop deck, complete with built-in, stone fireplace.
